Animacide:
“What
are you talking about, my Majesty? I am no more than a commoner, you are a
powerful and courageous noble, you should surely complete this quest,” said
Eddie shyly.
“I
did not come to receive compliments, Edvard, but to deliver a message of high
importance, Emperor Edgar has set a magical bomb somewhere in the Forest of
Dean, there you must go with Paige and discover the secret to cracking the code
and saving the universe. I will go but you should know ‘Help will always be
given to those who ask’, leave now.”
A
booming voice hit the cold, wet grass of the forest floor, “I see your
struggle, Edvard and know your fears, but you must continue even if there is no
hope. Maybe this will help:
‘I have eyes that could rip a
hundred souls,
Good
Luck,” and with that silence fell amongst them.
At
that moment, Paige and Eddie both let out the most blood-curdling,
ear-splitting cry they could make and a great gush of wind flew towards them.
As they looked closer, they saw a stunningly gorgeous lady flying to them, she
had pale skin, ruby-red hair and aqua eyes. Once you saw her, you felt
connected to her and felt as if she was the oxygen that gave you life. Paige,
being a girl did not feel this, so she took out a dagger, but before being able
to plunge it into her, was thrown to the ground from Eddie enraged by Paige’s
cruelness to the beautiful lady. As he got up, Eddie felt the most horrible
pain; his head was bursting, eyes bulging from their sockets. He saw the
animacide ripping his skin open, her eyes milky white piercing his soul. ‘I
must kill, I must kill, I MUST KILL,’ he thought. He grabbed Paige’s dagger and
plunged it into her stomach, as the dagger cut her, her beautiful face came
back and said in a fierce, wild voice, “What do you want from me?”
Czarina
Atlantis, smart, beautiful and utterly insane lived in a broken home that
shattered her heart even more. She didn’t care about either one now as she
paced through the misty forest, her face drooped and looked as long as the tall
moss covered trees, that had been newly watered from the never ending rain that
has haunted Inveruglas for centuries. Her dark rich auburn hair covered her
face as she ran backwards and forwards, her sapphire eyes sparkling in the fog.
Her eyes were filled with horror, but her rich red lips smiled in a sickly way.
She called for her father again and again, but no one answered. Her head spun
and she couldn’t breathe, suddenly she fell limp, just standing in the cold
air. Her chest bounced up and she came to life, her skin glowed and her eyes
flooding with silver. She smiled and licked a drop of blood on her lip as she
dragged a sad, dead man, muttering to herself about her father not crying any
more.

“Death
is upon us, Edvard, it is your journey to save us from it, to rid us from
evil,” slowly said King Charmont a small man with a face that was once handsome
and brave but now masked with tiredness and age. He had brown curly hair and
sparkling sapphire eyes.

Sweat
trickled down Eddie’s flushed face as he tried to solve the impossible code of
saving the world. A thin tall woman, Paige, stood behind him with pretty green
eyes calling out useless suggestions, he had long since given up hope. Eddie
stood up into quite a tall man, his chocolate brown eyes full of confusion and
lost faith. I’ve failed, he thought to himself. Paige began to speak, but then
realised there was no point as the magical bomb set to destroy Earth was about
to blow any minute. Two best friends were going to die there together as well
as broken dreams and hope. The pointless quest set out by King Charmont was a
dead end. When you are about to die, you notice how beautiful everything really
is, the trees, the sky, as if you are seeing it truly for the first time.
And teeth that pierce a
million holes.
I am beautiful, fierce and
strong,
The underworld is where I
belong.
Do not be shy; if you need me
give a cry.
If I feel threatened I will
do what you say,
Be it obey, stay or go away.
But most importantly,
I can stop time with the
simplest of a chime.’
Paige
gave a small yelp and shivered with fear, “It’s obvious isn’t it Eddie? We are
supposed to cry for ‘animacide’ if we threaten it we can get it to stop the
timer on the bomb. We need to cry really loud.”
Eddie
in a now brave, masculine voice, “Stop the timer now.” A blast of energy came
through her fingertips and the ringing of chimes, the bomb died. Eddie stood
up, brushed himself and stood there with a strong, courageous face smiling.
